Via a one-to-one Skype session, we talk you through, in detail, all the stages involved taking your book off the word processor and converting it into a quality finished product people can buy.
In advance of this session, we’ll find out about your specific requirements so we can give you targeted advice on everything you need to know and do at each stage of the self-publishing process – for example creating the formats required for print and e-book publishing, how to get an ISBN number, calculating costs at every step, and the all-important ways to market your book.
We’ll tell you what to do and what to avoid, helping you cut your way through the jungle of jargon, and also point you towards a wide range of great-value third-parties who can help you at every stage of the self-publishing process.
This consultancy service is charged by the hour, at £40 per hour.
Self-Publishing Project Management
This is where we manage the self-publishing on your behalf, although you still do the self-publishing. At the start, we’ll agree a timeline and set of costs together with what you need to do at each stage, and we’ll then help guide you through each step of this, answering any queries you may have making sure you understand what you need to do and how and when you need to do it.

Publish Through Mickle Press
This is our ultimate product, where we take all the hassles of self-publishing completely off your hands and let you concentrate on doing the writing. We’ll manage the whole process for you, including selecting and managing third-party suppliers, providing web presence and getting your book on-line.
